About me

My name is Sergio Paris and since 2002 I have been working as a passionate and dedicated freelance Italian mother-tongue translator and interpreter both in Italy and abroad.

In 2001 I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Venice (Ca' Foscari) and in 2004 I got a University Degree in Interpretation at  the Institute for Interpreters and Translators in Perugia.

My motto is “Professionalism, Reliability, Accuracy” and these are the qualities that my clients can better appreciate in my services.

My working languages are German and English, which I studied thoroughly not only at university but also during frequent study and work stays abroad, above all in Germany and Austria.

I mainly work for translation and interpreting agencies in Italy and abroad, in particular in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, apart from working for private companies and public institutions in many Italian regions, as well.

Since 2008 I have been member of BDÜ (Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer e.V.), the most important professional association for interpreters and translators in Germany.

From 2004 to 2010 I worked as professor at the Institute for Interpreters and Translators in Perugia, where I taught consecutive and simultaneous interpretation for the German language.

Since 2017 I have been teaching English to preschool children in a public kindergarten and German and English to adults in a private training institute.
